I want to thank you for your continued support of  Charlotte and the Magical Maple Leaf.

The newest in the series, Charlotte and the Amazing, Christmas-saving Snowflake, which was
scheduled to be released last year, is soon to be released and may have a really good shot at
mainstream, I am told.  I lost my Father last year to cancer, and so things have been on hold for me
for awhile.  I've thrown myself into my work at PMI, and have really been concentrating on my family,
friends, and just some down time. Down time is a good thing when you are still reeling from the loss
of a mainstay, a best friend, in your life.  My Father was such a man.

Publishing a book, and committing time to make it a viable contender, so to speak, has its drawbacks
when you've faced a personal loss.   But ultimately, once you've committed to your craft and to a
publisher, you need to get with the program.  And so I am.

That said, I'll be updating this website in the next few months, and getting back on track.  Thanks
very much to those of you who have written in support of the book, which is now available not only on
Amazon.com, but also on Target.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Yahoo shopping, and others.  It's great
to see the book working in my favor despite my lack of attention.  That speaks volumes to me.

I was thrilled recently to see a copy for sale on E-bay.  I watched the bidding, it was minimal, and the
buyer got it for 5.49.  I sent a personal e-mail to the bidder, because you can see who bids, and so
on, and thanked them for the purchase.  I was happy to hear later  that the little girl was thrilled with
the book, and she's now a personal favorite of mine.  I sent her a smiley face in the mail and her
parents were thrilled with that.  And so it goes.

The power of the written word.  Amazing thing, it.

And THAT is what writing is all about.

Take great stock in those you love.  Honor them unconditionally and often.  Especially when they
least expect it.  It matters.
