For a first effort, this is a magical journey. The writing is fresh, enthusiastic, colorful and gives one a great ride
through a mystical world of fantasy. The characters are just that..."characters" that draw you in, much like those in
ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The plot is well thought out and the author's mastery of English for children is quite
evident, as he leads Charlotte from her home at Mapleshire Manor along the Hidden Path all the way to the Meadow
of the Thorn. Your children will appreciate you reading this lighthearted story to them. Or, you could spend an hour
or so enjoying this thoroughly delightful and most imaginative flight of fancy. An especially wonderful present for all of
your small friends and relatives.

This amazing new story about a girl named Charlotte is a wonderful romp through an imaginary world of fascinating
characters. It is written in a wonderful style and keeps the reader chuckling at the interesting names and involved in
the novel story line. Having grown up before the computer and at the very beginning of television, I am pleased to
see that someone as talented as Mr. Moore can find such a magical place for children and their parents to go and
share time reading. I would like to see a video or movie made from this lovely new book. If possible, the characters
would become even more alive and fun.

Unusual, very interesting and enjoyable.  A few errors on the editorial side, but worthy of praise.  It will be interesting
to see this author evolve.

This guy has one active imagination.  Hilarious!  I recommend this to parents with children in the 10-12 age range.
The characters are well thought out, highly animated.  Looking forward to the sequel.  Maybe a Christmas theme
will push this into the mainstream?  You can e-mail me at

What happened to editing?  Really cute- lot's of potential.  More than a dozen of spelling errors.  This bit of
publishing may just  amount to something.
Find a decent editor.
